ps. I really want to get a cat, and name it Sir Didymus (character from the movie). Wikipedia describes him as a "chivalrous, fox-like knight who rides a sheepdog called Ambrosius, lives near the Bog of Eternal Stench, and guards a bridge to uphold a sacred oath." If that description doesn't intrigue you, I don't know what will.

I feel like there are two types of people in this world; those who like The Labyrinth, and those who don't. Not saying one opinion is better than the other, but really, you either love it or you hate it. However, I think we can ALL agree on hating David Bowie's spandex. Still love you DB, despite your disturbing wardrobe.

K I don't know why, but this movie really makes me SO happy. So does the soundtrack. If you're unhappy, or just struggling with studying like I currently am, I recommend listening to some musak from this movie. It's the best. AND it will make studying more enjoyable. How could you not be happy when listening to Superfreak?
"You have to take risks. We will only understand the miracle of life fully when we allow the unexpected to happen. Every day, God gives us the sun- and also one moment in which we have the ability to change everything that makes us unhappy. Every day, we try to pretend that we haven't perceived that moment, that it doesn't exist- that today is the same as yesterday and will be the same as tomorrow. But if people really pay attention to their everyday lives, they will discover that magic moment, a moment when all the power of the stars becomes apart of us and enables us to perform miracles. Joy is sometimes a blessing, but it is often a conquest..yes, we are going to suffer, we will have difficult times, and we will experience many disappointments- but all of this is transitory; it leaves no permanent mark. And one day we will look back with pride and faith at the journey we have taken." - Paulo Coelho

Dan Phillips builds low income houses out of recycled materials; "80 percent of the materials are salvaged from other construction projects, hauled out of trash heaps or just picked up from the side of the road." So cool. Hey Dan, wanna build me a house?
